Sookies Powers Explained

Posted by Koko

Ever since the first episode of season 1 it's been bothering me why Sookie was able to use telekinesis to tighten the chain around the poachers neck and later able to throw him into the air with a slight flip of his foot. The first scene is from the original unaired pilot episode. The woman hiding in the woods was Sookie's godmother. Her part was cut out of the pilot, however some of the effects she caused remained so it looked like Sookie was the one using those powers. Very confusing, but I imagine that the godmother will be brought back into the series at some point and all will be explained. The second scene is where the Rattrays ambush Sookie and she flips the guy into the tree right before Bill kills him. I would imagine this was also because of the godmother.

It's looking more and more like the Stackhouses do come from some supernatural line. I mentioned Sookie might be a faerie last year and then totally forgot about it. But now the godmother thing makes sense. A faerie godmother. This would also explain why Maryanne wants Sookie dead so badly. She knows exactly what she is and is threatened by what faeries can do. I suppose Sookie may have some very powerful ancestors.

This show rocks.

Ahhhhhhh- finally some clarity on this matter! I can't get enough, all I want to do is DVR a whole bunch of them so I can watch them back to back. I hate waiting for the next one :(

I also feel the need to say that Godric is very good looking.
